Return to God my Friend!

Return unto me. Return to God my child. Come home. Return to the light! Come out of the darkness of the world. Return to God! You have said you do not believe in me, yet I am the one you seek. You search for happiness and contentment. You search for fulfillment. You search and search but never find.

You hide in the darkened corners of your life but I see you. My eyes are upon you now. I saw you in your mothers womb. I took care of you and knit together your flesh. Before you were born I wrote about you in my book. I know you and I love you. You are a jewel to me.

You are a precious child who I long to speak with. There is no one who loves you as I do and as I will. Return unto me. Return to God!

I made this world for you. I fashioned the flowers and the trees for your eyes to look upon and find joy. I placed the sun  in the sky above to give you light and warmth.

I love you my dear one...

I made the breeze to refresh you and the wind to cool you. I created the waters and the seas for you. I created more people in the earth to befriend you. I created your mother and father to care for you, to nurture you and bring you up.

My dearly beloved don't blame me for the ills of this world. Don't blame me for an unhappy childhood or trouble you endure. Those who have hurt you refused to turn to me. They refused to turn to God, so that they might know good and do good.

Are you sad and weary?

If you are sad and if you are weary, return to me. Return to God. Drink from my eternal well of water. Come to me and I will make you strong. I will quench all your thirsts. Whatever troubles or ails you I have the remedy.

Return to me return to God! I want peace for you and rest for you. I wish that your joy be full. Nothing on earth, apart from me will satisfy. If you travel to the ends of the earth, you'll never find a love like mine. I love you in ways divine, far above and beyond worldly love. Return to me, return to God!

How to Use Poetry to Feed Your Spirit...Featuring Christian Poet ' The Real Poet '

http://www.triond.com/users/the+real+poet

The following words were written by ' The Real Poet', one of my favorite Christian Poets:

I am 'in' love with words. No matter how digitally complex the world may seemingly become, words are foundationally eternal.

In the beginning there was the WORD, and the WORD dwelled with GOD and the WORD is GOD...'The Real Poet'

The above words by 'The Real Poet'feed my spirit and I'm sure you know why. His last two lines relate to the Book of John. Here is the poetic scripture that inspires my featured poet:

John 1:1 In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God.

It's very easy to use Christian poetry to feed your spirit. All you need do is find a faith- filled poet like 'The Real Poet'.

His poetry links are below. I too, love words, especially the words of Christian poets. Not every poet is skilled at using words. Some are good. some are very good but others are excellent. I've had the pleasure of reading the poetic stylings of 'The Real Poet'.

He's an extraordinary Christian poet.  God has truly gifted his pen. Poets have a way of taking a few letters and turning them into a feast of words. 'The Real Poet'is a word chef, his poetry should be savored like a gourmet meal.

Don't just take my word. Give yourself a blessing today and follow the link to one of God's dedicated and gifted poets. I present to you 'The Real Poet'

Repentance: What does it Mean and why Repent?

As children of God do we understand the importance of true REPENTANCE? Do we understand God's judgement? What is REPENTANCE and why should we REPENT?

Sin is not a popular topic in the church. We hear a lot about God's love but sin is replaced by God's promises. We so love to hear what God can do for us.

We're aware of God's love. God sent his Son Jesus, to die on the cross that we might be saved. We, the guilty, were exonerated and washed in the blood of the Savior. However, God's judgement can fall upon the church. God's judgement can and does fall upon His children.

If there is continual sin we suffer, the outcomes are grave. Sin always brings on spiritual or physical death. Sexual sin often produces children out of wedlock. Lies will catch up to the teller. Stealing can put one in jail. Love of material things can put us into bankruptcy. Bitterness and jealousy can cause nervous problems and depression.

An unrepentant heart can never experience abundant life in Christ. Repentance is a key topic from Genesis to Revelation. The Judgement of God is always present and looming. Yes, we are saved by grace but let's look at what Apostle Paul says in Romans 6:

Romans 6:1-2  What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?

When John the Baptist preached he preached repentance. Let's look at what John the Baptist said in John 1:23:

John 1:23 " I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness: " Make straight the way of the Lord".

If Christ is to find a way into our hearts, we must "truly repent". Repentance is not just remorse, it's a complete change of heart. Repentance is a change of heart and deliberate decision to turn from sin. Repentance is regret and sorrow for sin. We are truly sorry for what we have done. We are truly sorrow that we have lived a life of sin. We want to do better. We long to be as perfect as God through Christ.

What has happened to the church? Are we " truly repentant"? How long has it been since you heard a sermon on repentance from sin? How long has it been since you heard your pastor preach hellfire? Hell is a reality for sinners. If we continue in sin, hell waits. How long has it been since you heard your pastor admonish you to press towards the mark in relation to sin? Tell the truth!

Many Christians are in debt. Some are in debt and continue to give lavishly to the church. We tithe while owe someone else money. This is stealing. How can we approach the alter knowing we owe money. Should we not pay our debts to Macy's and Walmart?

The church is split up into factions. How many denominations are there? The answers is thousands. Yet we never address this grievous issue of our own confusion. We run out to the world trying to unify them in Christ, meanwhile we are not unified.

The issue here is "true repentance". Pastors rob the church and molest children. The church remains silent. Thousands of Children are sexually abused by religious leaders. Church members sit by idly praying for financial gain.

Are you a prophet, teacher or leader? Did you know that God's judgement begins with His ministers? Do you preach repentance? Or do you stick to preaching on the fuzzy wuzzy love God has for us. Yes, God truly loves us but those He loves he chastens. As a preacher have you chastened or corrected your congregation? Or are you too afraid the tithes and offerings will fall short.
Do you keep members happy by dwelling only on God's goodness?

We need to repent of not teaching the word of God. We need to repent of not doing the word of God.

Where are the teachers and leaders who grieve over the abominations in the church? We need to repent of not falling to our faces in tears. We need to repent of of not weeping for the sins of the world and calling for repentance.

True Repentance: Repentant Tears Will Take Our Churches out of Bondage.

God requires that we do more than just receive Christ and be saved. It seems many churches today, dumb down the message of true repentance. Many come to Christ in droves, but are they truly repentant? Even our pastors fall into grievous sins. Perhaps these leaders never truly recieved Christ. Perhaps such leaders came to Christ on belief alone.  This article explores true repentance.

God requires that we do more than just believe Christ and be saved. It seems many churches today dumb down the message of true repentance. The gospel is more than just telling people to believe and be saved. Repentance is the first step before receiving Christ. John the Baptist was the forerunner of Christ. He preached repentance. He called all to repent and prepare the way for Christ.

We must be convicted of sin. These days, people come to Christ on belief alone then commence to asking God for more money and more stuff. God is not Santa Clause. Those who are attracted to the prosperity gospel just want to get PAID they offer nothing in terms of reaching the lost.

Don't be fooled. As a new convert to Christ I lingered about with this abominable prosperity gospel. I was not taught better. But thank you Jesus, the Bible is available for all to read and study. After a time, I felt convicted as a member of a prosperity church.

One day while watching prosperity TV/Christian television, I heard the Lord speak in my spirit. He said "come out from among them". I wasn't sure what He meant but I obeyed. After careful and diligent scripture study I understood the error and abominations of the prosperity gospel. It is a different gospel. It is man made and has nothing to do with the cross of Christ.

We must be convicted of sin. If we are not convicted of sin, we will desire to hear only what is good about the church. When we are not convicted of sin, we allow abominations to continue. Why is it that children continue to be sexually abused in churches? It is because that body has not truly repented. Those abominable ministers never repented, from the start. They were perverts before and after their "fake" conversion. The devil will always disguise himself, as an angel of light.

If we have not repented, we will not call others to repentance. We will allow our leaders to continue in sin. When we are not convicted of sin, and truly sorry for it, abominations, such as spiritual and sexual abuse, continue unchecked. The church, thus becomes a play ground for devilish ministers and unrepentant members.

When we are not convicted of sin, we pretend we have none. When we are not convicted of sin, we pretend that all Christians are perfect. Then we go on a crusade to condemn the world. Meanwhile, we need to condenm ourselves and repent. Truly repent and come to Christ.

We will stuggle all our lives with lying, cheating, sexual sin, addictions, depressions, stealing, cheating and sexually abusing children or allowing Pastors to abuse. If our repentance is not true, we will remain in sin and bondage. If our repentance is not true we become afraid to convict the "goats" we may have leading us.

The gospel is more than believe and be saved. The message of repentance and the call to repent is being cast off. What will happen in the future? With all the many Bible translations soon the word "repentance" will be removed. Don't doubt what I'm saying. Listen to how ministers are conducting the sinners prayer. Quite a few are leaving out the word "repent". All they say is believe and be saved. Watch this. Listen for it. You'll hear it.

We should be called out by our pastors to repent from sin. Instead ,many of them encourage us to pray for more stuff and pray for cash. Not all. But it's a growing trend. Pastors just want everybody to be happy as they fill up the collection plate. We should be convicted of sin. We should be called by our leadesrs to mourn and grieve for wounding Christ with our wickedness.

When we recieve Christ, we should be truly sorry for sin. Some have been Christians for years, but never truly repented. Millions are coming to Christ on believe in Christ, minus repentance. I ask you. Are they really saved?

Have we ever gone on our knees in tears, with a contrite heart that hates sin? Have our hearts truly been prepared for Christ to enter in? Do you remember how Peter wept, when he knew he had denyed Christ. Those tears expressed his true repentance. He suffered grief. He cried over what he had done. This was true repentance. Not that tears are proof but I think you know well-what I mean.

Each time we sin, repentance should be followed by regret and sorrow. Then seeking forgiveness and asking God for the power to walk upright, refraining from sin. We were once hell bound, now we have eternal life. This one fact alone, should bring tears of joy. Tears of joy, relief and commitment to living the life God requires.

Where is our true repentance? Are we really and truly sorry for the sins of our past? Or did we come to Christ with hands open wide praying for a mansion?

We must truly repent. We will never live the spiritually abundant life if we refuse to truly repent. I admonish all, to review their call to Christ and examine whether they have experienced true repentance.

If after many years as a Christian, you suffer from various bondages and  plights on your life, consider whether you ever, truly repented from sin.

Luke 12:3-I tell you nay, unless you repent, ye shall likewise perish.

The above words are the words of Jesus Christ our Savior.

Be quick, the days are evil, let no man take your crown...
